exercice 1

1.  Nous devons résoudre l'équation différentielle  \overset{{\white{.}}}{(E):2y'+y=0.}

Nous savons que les solutions de l'équation différentielle  \overset{{\white{.}}}{y'=ay\phantom{w}(a\in\R)}   sont de la forme  \overset{{\white{.}}}{y=k\,\text{e}^{ax}}  avec k  réel.
Or  (E):2y'+y=0\Longleftrightarrow y'=-\dfrac{1}{2}y.

Donc les solutions de l'équation différentielle (E) sont les fonctions  y:x\mapsto k\,\text{e}^{-\frac{1}{2}x}  avec k  réel.

2.  On considère l'équation différentielle  (E\,'):2y'+y=(x+2)\,\text{e}^{-\frac{1}{2}x}.
Nous devons déterminer les réels a  et b  tels que la fonction f  définie par  f(x)=(ax^2+bx)\,\text{e}^{-\frac{1}{2}x}  soit solution de (E' )

Si la fonction f  est solution de (E' ), alors :  2f'(x)+f(x)=(x+2)\,\text{e}^{-\frac{1}{2}x}.
\text{Or }\,f'(x)=(ax^2+bx)'\times\text{e}^{-\frac{1}{2}x}+(ax^2+bx)\times\left(\text{e}^{-\frac{1}{2}x}\right)' \\\phantom{\text{Or }\,f'(x)}=(2ax+b)\times\text{e}^{-\frac{1}{2}x}+(ax^2+bx)\times(-\frac{1}{2}x)'\,\text{e}^{-\frac{1}{2}x} \\\phantom{\text{Or }\,f'(x)}=(2ax+b)\times\text{e}^{-\frac{1}{2}x}+(ax^2+bx)\times(-\frac{1}{2})\,\text{e}^{-\frac{1}{2}x} \\\phantom{\text{Or }\,f'(x)}=[(2ax+b)-\frac{1}{2}(ax^2+bx)]\,\text{e}^{-\frac{1}{2}x} \\\phantom{\text{Or }\,f'(x)}=[-\frac{1}{2}ax^2+(2a-\frac{1}{2}b)x+b]\,\text{e}^{-\frac{1}{2}x}

\text{D'où, }\,2f'(x)+f(x)=(x+2)\,\text{e}^{-\frac{1}{2}x} \\\overset{{\white{.}}}{\phantom{\text{D'où, xx}\,}\Longleftrightarrow2[-\frac{1}{2}ax^2+(2a-\frac{1}{2}b)x+b]\,\text{e}^{-\frac{1}{2}x}+(ax^2+bx)\,\text{e}^{-\frac{1}{2}x}=(x+2)\,\text{e}^{-\frac{1}{2}x}} \\\overset{{\white{.}}}{\phantom{\text{D'où, xx}\,}\Longleftrightarrow[-ax^2+2(2a-\frac{1}{2}b)x+2b+ax^2+bx]\,\text{e}^{-\frac{1}{2}x}=(x+2)\,\text{e}^{-\frac{1}{2}x}} \\\overset{{\white{.}}}{\phantom{\text{D'où, xx}\,}\Longleftrightarrow(4ax+2b)\,\text{e}^{-\frac{1}{2}x}=(x+2)\,\text{e}^{-\frac{1}{2}x}}
Par identification des deux membres, nous obtenons :  \left\lbrace\begin{matrix}4a=1\\2b=2\end{matrix}\right.
Par conséquent,  \boxed{\left\lbrace\begin{matrix}a=\frac{1}{4}\\b=1\end{matrix}\right.}

et donc,  \boxed{f(x)=(\frac{1}{4}x^2+x)\,\text{e}^{-\frac{1}{2}x}}

3.  Nous devons démontrer qu'une fonction g  est solution de (E' ) si et seulement si g  - f  est solution de (E ).

En effet,

g-f\text{ est solution de }(E)\Longleftrightarrow2(g-f)'+(g -f)=0 \\\phantom{g-f\text{ est solution de }(E)}\Longleftrightarrow2g'-2f'+g -f=0 \\\phantom{g-f\text{ est solution de }(E)}\Longleftrightarrow2g'+g=2f'+f \\\phantom{g-f\text{ est solution de }(E)}\Longleftrightarrow2g'(x)+g(x)=(x+2)\,\text{e}^{-\frac{1}{2}x} \\\phantom{g-f\text{ est solution de }(E)}\Longleftrightarrow g\text{ est solution de }(E\,')

D'où une fonction g  est solution de (E' ) si et seulement si g  - f  est solution de (E ).

4.  En utilisant la question 3, nous déduisons que :

g  est solution de (E' ) si et seulement si  g(x)-f(x)=k\,\text{e}^{-\frac{1}{2}x}
{\white{wwwwwwwwwwww}}si et seulement si  g(x)=f(x)+k\,\text{e}^{-\frac{1}{2}x}
{\white{wwwwwwwwwwww}}si et seulement si  g(x)=(\frac{1}{4}x^2+x)\,\text{e}^{-\frac{1}{2}x}+k\,\text{e}^{-\frac{1}{2}x}
Par conséquent, la solution générale de l'équation (E' ) est donnée par  \overset{{\white{.}}}{y(x)=(\dfrac{1}{4}x^2+x+k)\,\text{e}^{-\frac{1}{2}x}}  avec k  réel.

exercice 2

On définit pour tout entier naturel n , les suites (un ) et (vn ) respectivement par :

\left\lbrace\begin{matrix}u_0=\dfrac{1}{2}\phantom{wwxxx}\\u_{n+1}=\dfrac{2}{3}(u_n)^2\end{matrix}\right.\phantom{xx}\text{ et }\phantom{xx}v_n=\ln\left(\dfrac{2}{3}u_n\right)

1.  Nous devons démontrer par récurrence que pour tout entier n , un  > 0.

Initialisation : Montrons que la propriété est vraie pour n  = 0, soit que u 0 > 0.
La relation est évidente puisque  u_0=\dfrac{1}{2}>0  et par conséquent, l'initialisation est vraie.

Hérédité  : Montrons que si pour un nombre naturel n  fixé, la propriété est vraie au rang n , alors elle est encore vraie au rang (n +1).
Montrons donc que si pour un nombre naturel n  fixé,  \overset{{\white{.}}}{u_n> 0} , alors  \overset{{\white{.}}}{u_ {n+1}> 0.}
En effet,

u_{n}>0\phantom{w}(\text{par hypothèse })\phantom{w}\Longrightarrow\dfrac{2}{3}(u_n)^2>0 \\\overset{{\white{.}}}{\phantom{WWWWWWWWwWW}\Longrightarrow\boxed{u_{n+1}> 0}}
Donc l'hérédité est vraie.

Puisque l'initialisation et l'hérédité sont vraies, nous avons montré par récurrence que pour tout entier n , un  > 0.

{\red{\text{2. a) }}}\,v_0=\ln\left(\dfrac{2}{3}u_0\right)=\ln\left(\dfrac{2}{3}\times\dfrac{1}{2}\right)=\ln\left(\dfrac{1}{3}\right)=-\ln3\Longrightarrow\boxed{v_0=-\ln3}

2. b)  Démontrons que la suite (vn ) est géométrique de raison 2.

v_{n+1}=\ln\left(\dfrac{2}{3}u_{n+1}\right) =\ln\left(\dfrac{2}{3}\times\dfrac{2}{3}(u_n)^2\right) =\ln\left(\dfrac{4}{9}(u_n)^2\right) \\\overset{{\white{.}}}{\phantom{v_{n+1}}=\ln\left(\dfrac{2}{3}u_n\right)^2 =2\,\ln\left(\dfrac{2}{3}u_n\right) =2\,v_n} \\\\\Longrightarrow\boxed{v_{n+1}=2\,v_n}

Nous en déduisons que (vn ) est une suite géométrique de raison q  = 2.

3.  Le terme général de la suite (vn ) est donné par  v_n=v_0\times q^n.

D'où  v_n=(-\ln3)\times2^n , soit  \boxed{v_n=-2^n\,\ln3}\,.

Exprimons un  en fonction de n .

v_n=\ln\left(\dfrac{2}{3}u_n\right)\Longleftrightarrow\dfrac{2}{3}u_n=\text{e}^{v_n} \\\phantom{v_n=\ln\left(\dfrac{2}{3}u_n\right)}\Longleftrightarrow u_n=\dfrac{3}{2}\,\text{e}^{v_n} \\\phantom{v_n=\ln\left(\dfrac{2}{3}u_n\right)}\Longleftrightarrow u_n=\dfrac{3}{2}\,\text{e}^{-2^n\,\ln3} \\\phantom{v_n=\ln\left(\dfrac{2}{3}u_n\right)}\Longleftrightarrow u_n=\dfrac{3}{2}\,\left(\text{e}^{\ln3}\right)^{-2^n} \\\phantom{v_n=\ln\left(\dfrac{2}{3}u_n\right)}\Longleftrightarrow u_n=\dfrac{3}{2}\times3^{-2^n} \\\phantom{v_n=\ln\left(\dfrac{2}{3}u_n\right)}\Longleftrightarrow\boxed{ u_n=\dfrac{1}{2}\times3^{1-2^n}}

4.  On pose :  \overset{{\white{.}}}{S=v_0+v_1+\cdots+v_n}  et  \overset{{\white{.}}}{S'=u_0\times u_1\times\cdots\times u_n.}

4. a)  S  est la somme des (n +1) premiers termes de la suite (vn ).

S=\text{premier terme}\times\dfrac{1-\text{raison}^{\text{nombre de termes}}}{1-\text{raison}} \\\\\phantom{S}=-\ln3\times\dfrac{1-2^{n+1}}{1-2} \\\overset{{\white{.}}}{\phantom{S}=-\ln3\times\dfrac{1-2^{n+1}}{-1}} \\\overset{{\white{.}}}{\phantom{S}=\ln3\times(1-2^{n+1})} \\\\\Longrightarrow\boxed{S=(1-2^{n+1})\,\ln3}

4. b)  Nous devons prouver que :  S'=\left(\dfrac{3}{2}\right)^{n+1}\text{e}^S.

\bullet{\white{w}}S'=u_0\times u_1\times\cdots\times u_n \\\\\phantom{\bullet{\white{w}}S'}=\left(\dfrac{1}{2}\times3^{1-2^0}\right)\times\left(\dfrac{1}{2}\times3^{1-2^1}\right)\times\cdots\left(\dfrac{1}{2}\times3^{1-2^n}\right) \\\\\phantom{\bullet{\white{w}}S'}=\underbrace{\left(\dfrac{1}{2}\times\dfrac{1}{2}\times\cdots\times\dfrac{1}{2}\right)}_{\text{(n+1) facteurs}}\times\underbrace{(3^1\times3^1\times\cdots\times3^1)}_{\text{(n+1) facteurs}}\times\underbrace{\left(3^{-2^0}\times3^{-2^1}\times\cdots\times3^{-2^n}\right)}_{\text{(n+1) facteurs}} \\\\\phantom{\bullet{\white{w}}S'}=\left(\dfrac{1}{2}\right)^{n+1}\times3^{n+1}\times3^{-2^0-2^1-\cdots-2^n} \\\\\phantom{\bullet{\white{w}}S'}=\left(\dfrac{3}{2}\right)^{n+1}\times3^{-2^0-2^1-\cdots-2^n}

Or  -2^0-2^1-\cdots-2^n  est la somme de (n +1) termes d'une suite géométrique de raison 2 dont le premier terme est -20.

En utilisant la formule de la somme rappelée dans la question 4. a), nous obtenons :

-2^0-2^1-\cdots-2^n=-2^0\times\dfrac{1-2^{n+1}}{1-2} =-1\times\dfrac{1-2^{n+1}}{-1} =1-2^{n+1} \\\\\Longrightarrow\boxed{-2^0-2^1-\cdots-2^n=1-2^{n+1}}

Nous déduisons alors que :  \boxed{S'=\left(\dfrac{3}{2}\right)^{n+1}\times3^{1-2^{n+1}}}

\bullet{\white{w}}S=(1-2^{n+1})\,\ln3\Longrightarrow\text{e}^S=\text{e}^{(1-2^{n+1})\,\ln3} \\\phantom{wwwwwwwwwwwww}\Longrightarrow\text{e}^S=\left(\text{e}^{\ln3}\right)^{1-2^{n+1}} \\\phantom{wwwwwwwwwwwww}\Longrightarrow\text{e}^S=3^{1-2^{n+1}} \\\\\text{D'où, }\,\boxed{\left(\dfrac{3}{2}\right)^{n+1}\text{e}^S=\left(\dfrac{3}{2}\right)^{n+1}\times3^{1-2^{n+1}}}

Par conséquent,  \left\lbrace\begin{matrix}S'={\red{\left(\dfrac{3}{2}\right)^{n+1}\times3^{1-2^{n+1}}}}\phantom{xxxxx}\\\left(\dfrac{3}{2}\right)^{n+1}\text{e}^S={\red{\left(\dfrac{3}{2}\right)^{n+1}\times3^{1-2^{n+1}}}}\end{matrix}\right.\phantom{xxx}\Longrightarrow\phantom{xxx}\boxed{S'=\left(\dfrac{3}{2}\right)^{n+1}\text{e}^S}

Exprimons S'  en fonction de n .

\left\lbrace\begin{matrix}S'=\left(\dfrac{3}{2}\right)^{n+1}\text{e}^S\\\\\text{e}^S=3^{1-2^{n+1}}\phantom{xxx}\end{matrix}\right.\phantom{xxxxx}\Longrightarrow\phantom{xxxxx}S'=\left(\dfrac{3}{2}\right)^{n+1}\times3^{1-2^{n+1}} \\\phantom{WWWWWWWWWW}\Longrightarrow\phantom{xxxxx}S'=\dfrac{3^{n+1}}{2^{n+1}}\times3^{1-2^{n+1}} \\\\\phantom{WWWWWWWWWW}\Longrightarrow\phantom{xxxxx}S'=\dfrac{3^{n+1+1-2^{n+1}}}{2^{n+1}} \\\\\phantom{WWWWWWWWWW}\Longrightarrow\phantom{xxxxx}\boxed{S'=\dfrac{3^{n+2-2^{n+1}}}{2^{n+1}}}

3. b)  Pour tout x réel, \text{e}^{-x}>0.
Le signe de f'(x) est donc le signe de h(x).

En utilisant les résultats de la question 3) Partie A, nous obtenons :

{\white{ww}}\bullet{\white{w}}f' (x ) < 0 si \overset{{\white{.}}}{x\in\,]0\,;\,\alpha[}

Par conséquent,

{\white{ww}}\bullet{\white{w}}f  est strictement croissante sur l'intervalle \overset{{\white{.}}}{]-\infty\,;\,0[}
{\white{ww}}\bullet{\white{w}}f  est strictement décroissante sur l'intervalle \overset{{\white{.}}}{]0\,;\,\alpha[}
{\white{ww}}\bullet{\white{w}}f  est strictement croissante sur l'intervalle \overset{{\white{.}}}{]\alpha\,;\,+\infty[.}

5. a) Nous devons montrer que la droite (deltamaj) d'équation y = x - 1 est une asymptote à la courbe (C) .

\lim\limits_{x\to+\infty}[f(x)-(x-1)]=\lim\limits_{x\to-+\infty}[(2x+3)\,\text{e}^{-x}+x-1 -(x-1)]  \\\overset{{\white{.}}}{\phantom{\lim\limits_{x\to+\infty}[f(x)-(x-1)]}=\lim\limits_{x\to+\infty}[(2x+3)\,\text{e}^{-x}} \\\\\\\text{Or }\left\lbrace\begin{matrix}\lim\limits_{x\to+\infty}2x\,\text{e}^{-x}=0\phantom{w}(\text{croissances comparées)}\\\lim\limits_{x\to+\infty}\text{e}^{-x}=0\phantom{wwwwwwwwwwwwwwww}\end{matrix}\right.\phantom{ww}\Longrightarrow\phantom{ww}\lim\limits_{x\to+\infty}[2x\,\text{e}^{-x}+3\,\text{e}^{-x}]=0  \\\phantom{WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW>vWWv}\Longrightarrow\phantom{ww}\boxed{\lim\limits_{x\to+\infty}(2x+3)\,\text{e}^{-x}]=0} \\\\\text{D'où }\,\boxed{\lim\limits_{x\to+\infty}[f(x)-(x-1)]=0}

Par conséquent, la droite (deltamaj) d'équation y = x - 1 est une asymptote à la courbe (C) au voisinage de +infini.

5. b) Étudions la position relative de (C ) par rapport à (deltamaj).

Nous devons étudier le signe de  [f(x)-(x-1)] , soit le signe de  (2x+3)\,\text{e}^{-x}.

Pour tout x réel, \text{e}^{-x}>0.
Donc le signe de  (2x+3)\,\text{e}^{-x}  est le signe de (2x  + 3).

\left\lbrace\begin{matrix}2x+3<0\Longleftrightarrow x<-\dfrac{3}{2}\\\overset{{\white{.}}}{2x+3>0\Longleftrightarrow x>-\dfrac{3}{2}}\\\overset{{\white{.}}}{2x+3=0\Longleftrightarrow x=-\dfrac{3}{2}} \end{matrix}\right.

D'où,  \left\lbrace\begin{matrix}f(x)-(x-1)<0\Longleftrightarrow x<-\dfrac{3}{2}\\\overset{{\white{.}}}{f(x)-(x-1)>0\Longleftrightarrow x>-\dfrac{3}{2}}\\\overset{{\white{.}}}{f(x)-(x-1)=0\Longleftrightarrow x=-\dfrac{3}{2}} \end{matrix}\right.

Par conséquent,

{\white{ww}}\bullet{\white{w}}  Si  x<-\dfrac{3}{2} , alors la courbe (C ) est en dessous de la droite (deltamaj).
{\white{ww}}\bullet{\white{w}}  Si  x>-\dfrac{3}{2} , alors la courbe (C ) est au-dessus de la droite (deltamaj).
{\white{ww}}\bullet{\white{w}}  Si  x=-\dfrac{3}{2} , alors la courbe (C ) et la droite (deltamaj) ont un point commun.

5. c)  L'abscisse du point A est égale à  -\dfrac{3}{2}.  (voir question précédente).
Le point A appartient à la droite (deltamaj).
Ses coordonnées vérifient donc l'équation de (deltamaj).
D'où, l'ordonnée du point A s'obtient en remplaçant x  par  -\dfrac{3}{2}  dans l'équation de (deltamaj) et en calculant y .
Nous obtenons ainsi :  y=-\dfrac{3}{2}-1=-\dfrac{5}{2}.
Par conséquent, les coordonnées du point A sont  \left(-\dfrac{3}{2}\,;\,-\dfrac{5}{2}\right).

6.  Représentation graphique de la droite (deltamaj) et de la courbe (C ).

Partie C

Soit D  la partie du plan limitée par l'axe des ordonnées d'équation x  = 0, la droite (deltamaj), la courbe (C ) et la droite d'équation x  = 2.

Sur l'intervalle [0 ; 2], la courbe (C ) est au-dessus de la droite (deltamaj).
Donc l'aire D  est donnée par :

D= \begin{aligned}\int\nolimits_{0}^{2} [f(x)-(x-1)]\,\text d x\end{aligned}\Longrightarrow \boxed{D=  \begin{aligned}\int\nolimits_{0}^{2} (2x+3)\,\text{e}^{-x}\,\text d x\end{aligned}} \\\\\\\underline{\text{Formule de l'intégrale par parties}}\ :\ {\blue{\begin{aligned}\int\nolimits_{0}^{2} u(x)v'(x)\,\text d x\end{aligned}=\left[\overset{}{u(x)v(x)}\right]\limits_0^{2}-\begin{aligned}\int\nolimits_{0}^{2} u'(x)v(x)\,\text d x\end{aligned}}}. \\\\\left\lbrace\begin{matrix}u(x)=2x+3\phantom{www}\Longrightarrow\phantom{ww}u'(x)=2\phantom{ww}\\v'(x)=\text{e}^{-x}\phantom{wwwwv}\Longrightarrow\phantom{ww}v(x)=-\text{e}^{-x}\end{matrix}\right.  \\\\\text{Dès lors, }\ D=\left[\overset{}{(2x+3)\times(-\text{e}^{-x}})\right]\limits_0^{2}- \begin{aligned}\int\nolimits_0^{2} 2\times(-\text{e}^{-x})\,\text d x\end{aligned}
 {\white{WWWWw..}}=\left[\overset{}{-(2x+3)\,\text{e}^{-x}}\right]\limits_0^{2}-2 \begin{aligned}\int\nolimits_0^{2} -\text{e}^{-x}\,\text d x\end{aligned}  \\\\ {\white{WWWWw..}}=\left[\overset{}{(-2x-3)\,\text{e}^{-x}}\right]\limits_0^{2}-2\left[\overset{}{\text{e}^{-x}}\right]\limits_0^{2} \\\\ {\white{WWWWw..}}=\left[\overset{}{(-2x-3-2)\,\text{e}^{-x}}\right]\limits_0^{2} \\\\ {\white{WWWWw..}}=\left[\overset{}{(-2x-5)\,\text{e}^{-x}}\right]\limits_0^{2}
\\\\ {\white{WWWWw..}}=\overset{}{(-2\times2-5)\,\text{e}^{-2}-(-2\times0-5)\,\text{e}^{0}} \\\\ {\white{WWWWw..}}=\overset{}{-9\,\text{e}^{-2}+5}

Par conséquent,  \overset{}{\boxed{D=(-9\,\text{e}^{-2}+5)\,\text{cm}^2\approx3,78\,\text{cm}^2}}\,.
