Alors, voilà...dans mon DM, y a cette question:
Soit g(x)=1+e(1/x)-(1/x)e(1/x) définie sur R*
1) Déterminer les limites de g aux bornes de son domaine de definition.
J'hésite car je ne sais si e(1/x) est une fonction composée, et sa limite
donne koi dans ce cas?
Merci beaucoup,
Joan
g(x) = 1 + [1 - (1/x)].e^(1/x)
g(x) = 1 + [(x-1)/x].e^(1/x)
-----------------
lim(x-> +oo) g(x) = 1 + 1*e^0 = 1 + 1 = 2.
------------------------------------------------
lim(x-> -oo) g(x) = 1 + 1*e^0 = 1 + 1 = 2.
------------------------------------------------
lim(x-> 0-) g(x) = 1 - lim(x->0-) [e^(1/x) / x]
mais lim(x->0-) [e^(1/x) / x] = 0/0 -> indétermination.
En posant y = 1/x, on a:
lim(x->0-) [e^(1/x) / x] =lim(y->-oo) [y.e^(y)]
Où l'exponentielle est préondérante ->
lim(x->0-) [e^(1/x) / x] =lim(y->-oo) [y.e^(y)] = 0
->
lim(x-> 0-) g(x) = 1 - 0 = 1.
-------------------------------------------------------
lim(x-> 0+) g(x) = 1 - lim(x->0+) [e^(1/x) / x]
= 1 - (oo / 0+) = 1 - oo = -oo
--------------------------------------------------------
